Timelapse Timelapses can be used in a variety of ways, either if you’re filming yourself working, travelling or moving around in some manner. Film at least 2 minutes continuously so we can speed it up.
Slow motion Slowmotion is a feature most smartphones have built in. Use it to capture fast-moving objects like birds, planes, cars moving or people dancing. Slowmotion footage rarely works in artificial light (it will flicker), so make sure you’re out in daylight when you use it.
Transitions Practice first. Always film one version with transition and one without.


If you want to get fancy you are more than welcome to try some transitions. Smacking the hand against the lense when you’re at home then transitioning to the beach for instance.
Remember to practise before you go out to film for real, and always shoot an extra clip without the transition :profile-pictures:
